Last night VRE sent out an email to it customers that it planned to run full service today. Interestingly, MARC put that email on it's website here:

http://www.mtamaryland.com/status/index ... RC%20Train

(By the way all VRE trains were delayed 20-30 minutes due to the weather this morning)

I received that e-mail last night. The next morning the same email was resent without the VRE portion.

That's awesome.

I'm sure someone at the MTA got the VRE email and said "Hey, this is a good idea!" and directed "Put this our to our people, too!".

Someone was just following directions to the letter without thinking or proofreading. :)
