I would like to know on how many M1 are still in service & retired & how many M7 cars are in service.

a little over 200 M7's are in Service as earlier reported.
about same number of cars are retired, 64 ACMU's rest M1's

If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???
