I have two LVRR lanterns, both round with clear glass globes and circular wire "caging" around, with round wire bases.

1. Larger one (approx. 10" high not including handle), has LVRR etched into glass, top metal of lantern reads "Dietz New york U.S.A., Vulcan 39" Base is 7-1/2" diameter.

2. Smaller (approx. 8" high not including handle) "Adlake Kero" etched into glass. On metal top, "The Adams & Westlake Co., L.V.R.R., Adlake No. 200 Kero, New York, Chicago, Phila" (the writing is circular). Etched on the back of the globe is what looks like a horeshoe lying on its side with "N X" in the middle of it. Base = 6".

Any info would be helpful. Unfortunately don't have pictures.
Thanks,

The Adlake 200 lantern is from around 1922 or 1923 and the # 39 is from 1910 or so. The # 39 frame is probably not an original LVRR frame even though the globe is original. Remember that if your globe has embossed lettering it is cast and not etched.
