I'm trying to locate the date that these locomotives were taken out of service/retired and/or scrapped. Thanks for any help you can provide!

S3 1185
NW2 1200, 1201, 1205, 1207
S4 1267, 1268, 1272
S5m 1280
F7B 4265B

I'm trying to come up with a B&M roster for early-mid 1976 - about the time Conrail came to be.

S3 1185 - Sold 3/79 to Naparano Iron & Metals and scrapped.
NW2 1200 - Same as above
NW2 1201 - Same as above
NW2 1205 - Scrapped 5/84 at North Billerica, Ma.
NW2 1207 - Same as above
S4 1267 - Same as S3 1185 - See Note 1
S4 1268 - Sold 3/78 to Naparano Iron & Metals and rebuilt. See Note 1
S4 1272 - Sold 11/83 to Naparano Iron & Metals and scrapped.
S5m 1280 - Sold 1984 to Naparano Iron & Metals and scrapped.

Note 1 - Leasd as NIMX 1268 to McCormick Sand & Gravel Co. (South
Amboy, N.J.), then to Clayton Sand Co. Also leased to Lipsett Steel
(Port Newark, N.J.).
However, Industrial Locomotives Archives shows McCormick Sand &
Gravel 1268 sold to Shenago Mold 1268 s/1 (Sharpsville, Pa.). Name
changed to Sharpsville Quality Products.
Futher complicating matters is that the 1267 may have resold this unit
to McCormick Sand & Gravel. Railroad ops ended in 1983 and there
was no additional disposition info.

Thanks for all of that information! Out of curiosity, where did you get that info? It may be a good source to pick up.

I've been doing New England engine rosters for a while. It's materials
gathered from loco-oriented publications like Extra 2200 South, Diesel
Era, Locomotive Notes II, personal research and info sharing with
other like minded folks.
