I plan to upload photos of all the different F Units one day when I have time. I thought it would be nice to have them all together in an album somewhere. I have roster photos of all the ones that were rebuilt in the 1981-1983 period. I have heritage information for all the F units, as seen below. If any of you guys know where particular engines went, can you post it here? I' know where they came from, but have some holes on where they went. I eventually will do it for the GP38-2's, the MP15's and the SW1001's, but figured I'd start with the F's as my "LIRR 3100" thread seemed to spark a lot of interest in the F units.

608- WM #304 - face chopped off and became LIRR #3100 to run as power car with the GP38's on Bi-level test train on the Port Jefferson line during the 90's.

611- Burlington Northern #4102, ex SP&S 857 - lasted to the late 90's
612- BN #4100, ex SP&S #856
613- BN 4120, ex SP&S 866

616- BN 4108, ex SP&S 860 - lasted to the late 90's

623- B&O 4535 - held at Morris Park, never rebuilt for the LIRR tracks
All the ones that "lasted into the late 90's" were rebuilt in 1981-1983.
