i want to find out which part of the lirr uses third rail,trolley wire and desil for its trains

Umm like 90%-95% uses 3rd rail, the other 5%-10% uses desiel.

Most of the routes that uses desiel are in the farthest points east and north.

Diesel from:
Long Island City to Jamaica
Jamaica to Speonk
Jamaica to Montauk
Babylon to Patchogue
Huntington to Port Jefferson
Ronkonkoma to Greenport
Jamaica to Oyster Bay

Freight is pulled by diesel on various LIRR branches by the NY&Atlantic

Overhead catenary wire is no longer in use by the LIRR (ended with the retirement of LIRR class B3 electric locomotives).
