Kawasaki Test Train On Tap

Hey kids...

Three out of the four new K-Cars will be out testing this weekend
on the Lowell mainline after 9AM Saturday AND Sunday. Tests
will be conducted in the usual spots between Wilmington and North
Billerica.

is the 902 still on the south side? or did it go back to BET?

Coach 902? Not quite sure, but its probably still on the southside.

On the valley track at the BET this morning (north to south):
GP40MC 1126,
cars 900, 901, and 903,
then cab car 1708.
Perhaps this will be the consist for this weekend's testing.

Not sure where Kawasaki # 902 went to, but it is no longer where I had reported seeing it.

Depends on whether you want a static view or screaming up or down the
mainlines?

The actual high speed testing takes place between Silver Lake and
Shop Interlocking in N. Billerica.

Wilmington Station is at the interlocking, so you can see them turn
there plus get Amtrak's Downeaster. Shop Interlocking is at Pond St
in N.Billerica. Other overpasses are Nichols St, Lake St or Brown St.

The Test Train did not get out today until around 3PM due to
numerous problems with its original power. 1126?

At any rate, the 1036 took over.

BTW, the 1036 came back from the P&W 2/06.

Tomorrow's train is still on.

I think i'm gonna go to Wilmington tomorrow morning. If that's no good, i can always hop on the next train and go up to North Billerica, as i will be coming from Fitchburg tomorrow morning by train acct lack of car.

I went to Wilmington and got pics today. Will have them up in 6 months for all to see!!!!

6 months? Where the heck do you get your film developed? Even Wal-Mart and BJ's Wholesale Club get stuff bac in about a week! LOL

could be worse, he could have lost the pictures altogether...I've had that happen way too many times to count

CSX, i have about 30 rolls of film waiting to be developed. That's why it's going to take so long.

BTW, my films go to Wal-Mart.
