For those of you who remember the conversation, I finally found the magazine our band's picture was in. It was Railfan, not Trains as I posted earlier. The photographer in the foreground is Dick Allen, D&H's photographer. Great memory of a very cold day. - Bill

That's excellent... I have this issue somewhere in my stacks, I'll have to dig it out.

Was any color shot that day, or only b/w?

The days of setting up a shoot like this and getting a release are long gone, that's for sure!
