Look at this old photo of the station in JT as it appeared in 1972. The CNJ must have just departed. Rails are rusty. But look at the condition of that station. The window frames are literally rotted to hell and there are holes in the tower roof and the far end of the passenger platform canopy roof is in the process of collapsing. Thank goodness it was spared the wrecking ball. The condition of the station is an obvious reflection of the CNJ's finances.

Anyone know when the town took ownership and restored it?
