They are constructing a connection between the A/C/F Jay Street Station and the M/R station down the block. Construction on the passageway can be seen at night directly across from the MTA Building on Jay Street, its a pretty busy operation. They are also running the track inspection car a whole lot around the Jay street station. I saw it last week TWICE and again today at 10:45AM. Its really a beautiful piece of machinery.

Makes sense to do that since the two stations are near each other. It's a transfer that should have been done a long time ago.
