Yeah, I was wondering if some kind of detour would be used to bring 'em home. Thanks Dutch.

Cell phone pictures of Summit Yard being utilized for refugee consists on Sunday. There's an 8 car set and a 9 car set. Notice in the second shot, you can see two MOW workers doing an inspection. Either that, or they are walking to Summit proper for lunch.

I hope its tuesday, im off from work and will want to get out and catch this movement. 8 engines and 43 passenger cars. Should be fun.

Any idea when this happens will they just couple each train set together or will they put all 8 engines on the east or west end?

Once again, when flooding occurs, head for high ground (aka The Boonton Line). Some things never change.

gone take lots of $$$ to fix that mess.
Yeah, I've had business with Fred also. I'm not quite sure why putting his background information or stating the fact that you know him has any relevance to the discussion though.

Well it's actually thanks cruiser, not that I need it for my ego of course. I'm very happy for dutch to parade with my information as if it was his own ;)

You guys should also watch this thread in the MN forum for information regarding the Port Jervis. I'll be posting info in both as questions and info come up.

As I said, only a few sets will be brought down around Tuesday. There's no guarantee how many sets or when exactly they will be taken.

You know, we could merge both threads together and sticky them, since clearly this is going to be an important event.

Ohhh I dont know, if I watch a video or even a documentary and it list someone, its always nice to have someone know a person in a video to verify that they do know what they are talking about. Cruiser, when you make it to a video(Although you did make it on here in some pictures of something in Newark :P )I will be quick to say that I know you and good guy and knowledgable. Deal?? :)

I don't have the power to "suck" topics from forums I don't moderate into my own. Sorry folks.

And Cruiser939, I haven't been in the MN forum for at least 5 years... not that I don't like it. I like it just fine. Thanks for the clarification on the source citing. :-)

Just watching the weather and they say this Wednesday could get quite a soaking rain from the remnants of T.S. Lee. So were not done yet.

NJT has posted a revised schedule for the Main-Bergen online to reflect the Port Jervis suspension.

Are they also reprinting the schedule? Because I see that the Port Jervis times are merely blocked by white rectangles, which can be removed in Illustrator.

Revised 9/1/11 edition.

It must have been prepared on short order and recently in the last few days, as any printed copies have yet to appear.

Will the pocket station timetable cards for the Main/Bergen be reprinted as well, considering the last edition was only less than a month ago (8/14)?

MNR is saying they will consider restoring some express service when all the sets are out of Port Jervis, so it will change more before service resumption.
