Word is the cars are going for a trip GCT-Poughkeepsie-MO-Wassaic soon.

a schedule would be more beneficial, after all according to some the world will end soon.

If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

Spotted the Inspection cars outside the Croton Harmon Shops but the second MN Phoebe Snow Observation Car was
not there so there was MN3 and one Observation car.

Why does the inspection train need two Genesis engines? It's only 3 cars long? Is it a HEP issue?

It doesn't need both. Chances are since the inspection cars were making a move the Gennie was along for the ride to be moved from Harmon to Poughkeepsie or vice versa.

It has two engines as the inspection train requires a run around, when traveling to Poughkeepsie , wassaic or waterbury.
those 3 end locations have no way of turning the train or locomotive.
