Jeff has forwarded me some complaints about IMGUR uploads working intermittently. After doing some research, I found that IMGUR has posted a status update about degraded performance with their site since May 12th 2023.
As an alternative, the "upload attachment" tab allows the uploading of images and other attachments directly to our server vs using the IMGUR hosting service.
Attachments are capped at 5MB per attachment, and image size checking is disabled, so any size image should be acceptable; however images over 1200x800 may appear as text links to avoid breaking the formatting of the pages.
