medfield. north-south is csxt from framingham to walpole, mansfield & middleboro. the only link for rail freight to se mass & cape cod. bay colony had an interchange here for their now gone millis traffic. the track to the east to dover and needham was operated by bay colony. years ago this line had a diamond on the csxt line. subsequently removed since there was no traffic from needham. it appears the track from medfield to needham will be pulled for a rail trail. ken patrick
