Train Symoble was MPASCWY-8-23 BNSF 4118, FURX 8104, MEC 375, NREX 5485, and NS 9443. Sorry to get off topic MEC407.

I have just learned the UP Train Smacked the Guilford Unit head on. Unit upside down on the bottom of a pile with CN 6026 and unidentifable UP Dash 8.

Ouch!

So, will Guilford get a nice spiffy new locomotive at the expense of Norfolk Southern?

  by MEC407

It might depend on which railroad is found to be responsible for causing the accident. For instance, even though the Guilford locomotive was on an NS train, what if the accident was actually caused by UP? Would UP be responsible for compensating Guilford?

At any rate, I doubt that whatever Guilford gets will be new or spiffy.

Saw a Photo of her on the News tonight and it wasn't pretty. Damage at least $700K.

Update the The 1st 2 Units the BNSF 4118 and FURX 8104 didn't get a scrape they called a crew form Elkarht to take those 2 units there. The MEC Unit that's a different story it is in sad shape.

Run-through power. The same way Wisconsin Central SD45's could be found on CSX trains in New York State a few years back.
