Right now I am dealing with the aftermath of my autumn 2004 tour (see the trip report). To be more specifc I am currently framing and edditing the slides along with the notes I took when taking photos. One slide keeps me puzzled.
I took that one near Westfield NY on the NS old NKP line on Thursday October 7th 2004. It is apparently a GE test train: Leading was a blue locomotive numbered 2011 with a large GE logo on the front trailing that one was a unit in an orange and gray paint with number 6003 (the train went that fast that could no spot any reporting marks) followed by a test/measurement coach while BNSF's AC4400EV 5719 was bringing up the rear.
Can someone identify the 2011 and 6003?
Thanks in advance
Gijs
