Many years ago, at the invitation of J.J. Young Jr, my daughter and I were present at the historic meet of the EL bicentennial SD's and the D&H 1776. In fact we were in the cab of the U23 at the time the picture was taken. Unfortunately I never thought to ask John for a copy of the print. Does anybody know of a source of that print by JJ or any other photographer? I'd like to give it to my daughter as a momento. Is JJ 3rd on this forum?
Thanks,
Bill

How about this:

Also, J.J. Young III is often on the NYS&W and Susquehanna groups on Yahoo under his real name.

Thanks for the replies. I have several digital versions of the photo and at least a couple from the "In Color" series of hard covers. I am hoping to find a good ole fashion Kodak print as a momento of the event. Thanks for the tip, I will scout around for John on the other groups.

I didn't have much luck. I scanned the Susquehanna group but didn't see him. I also checked all the "J"s in the member list but did not come up with a clear J J Young III.

He goes by the handle "jjiii2006" on the Susquehanna Yahoo Group.

You can search for his hame and email him through the group. I haven't kept any of his messages with his email address.

He posts to that list almost daily.
