I think that enginemen changed at Scranton and Elmira and passenger trainmen went Hoboken to Binghamton and Binghamton to Buffalo. In any event there were separate crew districts for trainmen and enginemen.
Freight trainmen - not sure - forgotten
Other jobs went Hoboken to Port Morris or Port Morris to Scranton or variations depending on the train.
Originally long ago Bath was a division point with a division office building but that was discontinued early on and crews went into Buffalo.
Elmira base crews did not fare well after merger with Erie as the Buffalo and Scranton and Binghamton guys had more bumping flexibility. I'd like to find out more about the Elmira facilities as there just doesn't seem to be much out there.
