DELAWARE-LACKAWANNA'S CONTRACT EXTENDED: "The" Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad is pleased to announce the approval of a 5-year operating contract extension for Lackawanna County Rail Authority (LCRA) owned trackage. In their April meeting, the LCRA voted unanimously to extend the agreement which had been recently under negotiation and was due to expire later this year. The contract extension brings both economic stability to the railroad's customers, its employees and the region and will allow the Delaware-Lackawanna to sustained traffic growth and continue with property improvements.
