can anybody tell me what was columbus was like in eairly conrail years <circa1976> what were the traffic patterens like on conrail and which yards were still in use for what purpose ...was traffic on the c&o and n&w mostly coal headed north or did these roads run general freight on these lines also...was parsons yard a point where trains terminated and originated or was that yard only use for local traffic....and what was watkins road yard on the n&w used for??? What was the industrial base of columbus in 1977.....
