How did B&M operate the Housatonic's line back when they owned it? Did they keep their engines parked in Pittsfield and interchange with Conrail or did they run up the Coltsville industrial all the way back to North Adams?

During the B&M years, movements over the 18 miles of track between between Adams and North Adams Junction (Pittsfield) were fairly rare. The B&M kept a GP9 at Pittsfield to power local PI-1 to Canaan, and most traffic was interchanged with Conrail rather than running up to North Adams.
