Canadian in Toronto

I'm taking the Caanadian from Toronto to Edmonton and have a couple of questions:

What time do the sleepers open in Toronto? Is the lounge car open leaving Toronto?

Does the train routinely arrive early into Edmonton?

Why is the Hertz counter closed on Sunday?

Approximately 21:30.

Is the lounge car open leaving Toronto?

Yes. Hors D'oeuvres and a ghastly bubbly - sometimes called "champagne" which it certainly is not - are served.

Does the train routinely arrive early into Edmonton?

Nothing is routine on the Canadian, but I have arrived early more often than not.

Why is the Hertz counter closed on Sunday?

I think Hertz will have to answer that question.

When will you be taking the Canadian? I will be taking it From Toronto as well, and am curious to know if we're both sharing the same train.
