You may have heard by now there is a major project underway to faithfully model Norfolk Southern's Reading Line and other trackage in the Lehigh Valley and Reading areas in one of the rail simulation programs on the computer.
Well, now you can become part of that project!
A team member and i will be demonstrating the route as well as the software at the upcoming Spring Thaw Train meet in Allentown!
Come see it and try it out for yourself, and provide any info on errors we made, or things you would like to see added, etc.
We'll have the route running for periods of time at the show, so come try your hand at being the engineer or (and) conductor!
Right now only some portions of scenery remain to be done, and work is progressing rapidly. We're also having custom models made for this project, including the Allentown hump tower, Macungie and Mertztown stations, and Reading Phillies baseball stadium (and we can always add more based on your feedback and information).
