Has the brush fire in the vicinity of Pine Aire damaged any of NYA's trackage or the facilities of their customers in the area? Was there any rolling stock, such as LPG tankcars, on the siding that had to be moved out because of the fire?

The fire was about 1/4 to 1/2 mile west of Pine Aire Siding

The siding was completely empty when I passed over it, both yesterday and today. Very unusual to see it empty this long.

fire approached the main line, but was on the other side of the parkway... i dont believe the NYAR equipment was ever in peril.

NYAR equipment was ordered to clear up at Prima due to the fire. LIRR lost control of the signals in the area of the fire.

Signal control probably lost when the LIPA lines were shut down.
