Can anyone shed any insight into the cabooses the AV used and their history. I know there was an ex-CP (#7?) and maybe another. Not much was answered from the spiral-bound AV book published years ago.

Here is what information that I can find on caboose # 7 , she is ex CPR 437065, when built ? , I also found that the caboose was up for sale , in Maine , Pat.

The caboose is located in Marsh Mills, Maine on Route 1 just outside of town, this information I found on the net. Pat.

I had wrong Maine town , on caboose AVR # 7 , the caboose is located in MARS HILL , MAINE , just outside of town on Route 1 .Pat.

BEfore the ex CP, I would say up til the 70-s or so, there was an ex CNJ center cupola caboose on the AVR
