10 VIA Budd Coaches and 2 dome-lounges are being leased to Amtrak for at least two weeks.
They will run on the Adirondack between Albany and Montreal, while Amtrak leases some
equipment to New Jersey Transist, that had scores of coaches and locomotives damaged
by Hurricane Sandy.
