I'm spending this coming weekend around Illinois and I'd like to be able to communicate with other railfans around the state via amateur radio. Are there any open 6m, 2m, or 70cm repeaters in the Rochelle/Sterling, Watseka/Gillman, or Downers Grove areas that railfans frequent? What are the frequencies and tones required for their use? Any help would be much appreciated!
