I might be able to head out to Buffalo this weekend to look for a few of the more obscure Alcos.
anyone know how to get to these?
(and is it even possible to get to them to photograph them?)

Alco S2 at the former Niagara Mohawk Plant in Tonawanda, NY (now "Huntley" plant.)

Alco S1 at Dunlop Tire Plant , Tonawanda.

It is an annual Slide Show that they sponsor in Western NY.

Coudln't find too much on their website, I think they advertise through the Magazine.

That's all I know about it but I'm sure others on this list are going.

I actually heard about it from the guys on the BSOR. Pat was telling me how Devon Lawton showed a movie he took from his EL engineers seat as they took a trip down the Buffalo branch to River Junction, and then down the River Line and across the viaduct at Belfast. I would have loved to see that as I have an interest in the old River Line. I'm hoping more nuggets like that are coming this year.

Didn't mean to hi-jack your thread scottychaos, but I figured if you were making the trip to Buffalo this weekend it was because you were heading to this event.
