A train derailment interrupt the Via Rail Service.

Hi everyone.

A Canadian National train derailment interrupt the Via Rail service between Montreal-Toronto,Montreal-Ottawa and Toronto and
conversely.

The derailment was happened at 3:30 am early this Wednesday morning at Brockville ON. A town situated between Montreal and Toronto.
Seven cars had derailed of the freight train and they block the two railroad tracks.

The passengers which are suppose to be travelled by Via Rail Canada trains are carried by bus.

Thanks Sylvain. The CN derailment was actually in Kingston and not Brockville. All morning and early afternoon trains in the corridor between Montreal/Toronto and Ottawa/Toronto were cancelled with ticketed passengers taken by bus to their destinations. The line between Montreal and Ottawa was not affected. Partial service was restored by mid-afternoon and full service should return to normal tomorrow.
