Well, it's about time! Construction has begun on the new 69th st bridge over the CSX River Line and NYS&W in North Bergen NJ.
This will be a major improvement for drivers, as well as the railroads. I cannot understand why it has taken so long for this bridge to be built. It's not the city of North Bergen paying for the project, it's State and Federal funds.
Perhaps it helped that NJT is planning commuter service on the old Northern?
Do you think CSX will call this "bridge 69"? <g>
