3020 and 3042 status???

I was just wondering what the status of the sd 40 3020 and gp 40 3042 were? I see that they are in "cold" outside storage, do the still run or just waiting there demise??? Would be nice to see something other than the 3040 in Utica once in a while. Thanks for the info.

The scrapper has arrived in Utica to scrap the 3636, 3020 and the 3042. First to go is the 3042 with the hydraulic jaws tearing apart the sheet metal hood and cab.

I will try to get pictures this week

3042 and 3636 were down to the frames as of sunday evening. 3020 had some of its long hood gone. im sure they're all gone today.
