$3.5 Million for Wyoming and Livingston Counties

Last week's Buffalo News had an article on $3.5 million dollars for railroad improvements in Wyoming and Livingston counties.

Is this for the Letchworth bridge?

Yes, it's for a new bridge over the Genesee at Letchworth and for the upgraded interchange at Silver Springs for the R&S. Thank God. I did'nt want to see the "Tier" go under just because it's my favorite line. No offense to the A&A lovers, but................

Now.........if there only was a way to make the line as busy as CSX's "Water Level" line

Gonna be a lot more than $3 million for a "new" Portage Bridge...

Yes, the article noted that the 1.5 for the bridge and 1.5 for the interchange in S.S. would not cover the total cost but NS was thankful for any extra money.
