Yes, when the 2600's arrived they were assigned to all routes except the Skokie Swift. They operated alongside 2200's on the Lake-Dan Ryan until the late '80s, when the 2200's were assigned exclusively to the Congress/Douglas-Milwaukee. Around the same time, the Lake-Dan Ryan was equipped almost entirely with 2400's.
