RENFE posted this last week on their YouTube channel—a real time video of the 2 1/2 hour AVE morning run from Madrid to Barcelona. (As I told a friend, it's kind of like the Yule Log for foamers.)
I took the AVE last year from Madrid to Valencia and later from Seville to Madrid. Hands down the best train travel experience I've ever had. The conductor on the trip from Seville even gave me two silver-plated RENFE coffee spoons.
