The sign was there on the platform Wednesday went I went by in the afternoon.

I'll be there today, but not to work or railfan, going to the game. After all, that's what the station if for isn't it?

i was there, as a ticket seller. i liked it, just wish i didnt forget my camera on the train on my way there....

The ticket seller booths, were like little soap boxes. I guess it feels different not being behind glass.

I rode the first New Haven train in, plus had the railfan window to myself, other than a MN person who was accomodating to my photography. In New Haven our initial trainset crapped out so we pulled back to the platform and switched to the train that was supposed to be the trailing local. MN got the GCT riders another train.

Probably kept blank for a corp. sponsor, like Flonase or Viagra.

Those look similar to the TOM's that they have at any other station. My question in this setup is the security of the agent and funds, mixed with potentially rowdy fans.

The Shea Stadium/Mets-Willets Point LIRR ticket office is a wood building on the station promenade, for comparsion. It at least resembles a standard box office.

Day 2 of station operation: Trains accepting fans departing the stadium after a Sunday afternoon 11-inning game. Pretty much the full range of Metro-North revenue equipment is on display.
