You mean I'm the only person to think it strange that there have been no documented deliveries of rail cars from Bombardier since April 14. Man! That's seven weeks!!!

Well, what do you think this board is? This ain't the Amtrak forum, you know.. (probably would be several pages by now, if so...just kidding)

Seriously though, I didn't realize it had been that long. What' the highest number received so far?

Yeah if this was the MNCR forum, we'd be all over this...

I have to say I love just about everything about the new cars. Fast, quiet, reliable...

MNCR = Metro North Commuter Railroad. Technically I think they changed to MNRR (metro north rail road) recently, but MNCR sticks in my head.

Regarding my comments above about being "all over this", the MNCR forum have a very active thread on delivery of the new M8 EMU's for the New Haven line. It's something like 20+ pages long. They did the same for M7's being delivered for Hudson/Harlem service.

Man these new cars cannot come fast enough. I got to swim downtown this morning on a train of 2400's with crapped-out air conditioning. Somehow the Justin Biebler fan club didn't get the memo and I had a zillion teenie boppers riding with me. Long ride in this AM...

That was a good article. Accordingly the highest number seen now is 5258.
