Just a quick note:
For several weeks the track gangs have gathered equipment at East Leavenworth, MO. Looks like BNSF is replacing welded rail from vic Waldron to (at the moment) just south of the Little Platte River bridge.
Driving along the old Q is part of my daily commute. I get to see one of the busiest stretches of single-track in the country
