Was MN service to and from PJ impacted by the flooding?

News reports indicate that flooding in PJ was the worse since 1955.

No. This time it was mostly the Neversink River that flooded, which is unusual. Normally it's the Delaware that floods, and when it floods, it can impact the railroad. The Neversink floods have had no impact on the railroad.

Folks on another thread say that train service was turned at Otisville due to flooding at Port. The river level is down now, but was about 4 feet over flood stage late Sunday. I think that puts about a foot of water in the yard.

Nice live shot of NBC reporter standing on the Neversink route 6 bridge, with raging water just blow it. "This bridge and access" are shut off he said this morning
