VIA has officially announced 641 to operate Mon-Thurs from Ottawa at 4.19am and arriving in Toronto at 8.48am.

This is in lieu of the clamoured for return of 651 (Kingston-Toronto). Presumably there is a desire not to stable Ventures overnight in Kingston for now, or anything else either.
Balancing this equipment allocation, train 644 (currently Fri-Sun between Toronto and Ottawa) becomes a 7-day service.
