The Northern Ohio Association of Railroad Societies (NOARS) is coordinating this affair Sept. 28th through Oct. 1st in Cleveland.
The Van Sweringens built Cleveland Union Terminal and the Shaker Heights Rapid Transit, and also became involved in railroading by purchasing the Nickel Plate Road.
The AMC was the Advisory Mechanical Committee of the affiliated Van Sweringen railroads: C&O, NKP, and ERIE.
The C&OHS, NKPHTS, E-LHS, and E-LDCPS are participating in the Symposium.
