How many trains a day roll on the old Wilkes-Barre Connecting RR through WB and over the Susquehanna River?

I generally hear about 4-5 come through at all hours of the day. Lot's of different types of power and roadnames.

Thank you for the information! I work during the day in downtown W-B, and occasionally I hear a train whistle in the distance.
What is the radio freq for that line? Are there any local detectors? And is the line signalled or is it dispatched via Form Ds?

You might also be hearing the Luzern and Susquehanna which runs right through downtown. They service Air Products in Hanover which uses that trackage and possibly others. There are plenty of crossings that they have to blow for on the way down there. I never figured out if they run on a schedule.
