The Hurlock Fall Festival is October 7, 2006. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. The train ride schedule is 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

Train rides are $5.00. There will be entertainment, craft vendors, food, and a carnival. Train tickets are available at the Hurlock Town Office 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday until October 6th. Train rides can also be purchased on the 7th at the train station.

Train rides last about an hour and run from Hurlock northeast to Federalsburg and return. The passenger cars are a couple of former NS steam train coaches owned by the town and only used for this occasion each year. For more information see:

The Hurlock Fall Festival will feature train rides again this year on October 6. Departure times will probably be the same as in the past.
