Surviving Conrail Painted Loco Spottings

Well I guess I was wrong about the LMS units being painted last as since I wrote that post they went from 8 to 6. So now since it's getting closer, which CR blue engine will be the last to be painted over?

i think one of the SD50's because there are still a lot of them left, in fact more than any other engine, and NS is retiring them one at a time to get rebuilt in the SD40E program.

Yes that was actually my second choice after the LMS units because I know they are slowly being rebuilt. However only time will tell...

3026 is in Camden,NJ
5286 was in Pennsauken,NJ
5336 was in Bristol,VA
5425 was in Bath,PA

3026 and 5286 are paired back together again after a brief separation over the Christmas wknd in which 5285 replaced the 5286 for a few days. Safe to say the last paired blue units that will ever happen.

No, NS 2100 was the last blue SW when it got painted a little while back. The SW-1500's are all retired.(long since retired on CSX)

Still in blue paint and an sw1001! Although the CR logo has been covered. I believe this was the former NS 2111.

MDDE #801, former CR SW900, still has her Conrail Express markings and blue paint. She will also more then likely never be painted while owned by the MDDE.
