This is the newest RR museum on Connecticut and is operated by the Western Connecticut Chapter, National Railway Historical Society.

The SONO Switch Tower Museum is located in the fully restored 1896-built Switch Tower in South Norwalk, CT.

No reason not to mention it here... this is a railfan activity one can do when in New England... not to mention that it's a good place to hang out and watch trains (as long as you don't get in the way)!
