I was surprised by the lack of information(of the structure) that became available when Pan Am scrapped the turntable/roundhouse in Rigby. I recently found out that during some stripping of parts(quite a while ago if I remember correctly) off the turntable my father removed to builder plate and saved it from becoming another recycled steel product. I hope this adds some data to the origins of it. I would gather that builder was an era bridge or steel structure builder. I would like to see it become part of a Maine railroad museum at some point in the future.
