Sorry folks, it isn't behind a T1. For those interested, there will be an excursion using RDG FP7s 902 and 903 to the Strasburg Railroad on November 1st. The link for a ticket order form can be found at http://www.readingrailroad.org/info/rcths_trips08.pdf

Ticket orders must be in by October 20 (I know, 5 days is somewhat a short time away). Be sure to support the first mainline excursion of the FP7s to Strasburg since 2001!

If I wasn't already busy on 11/1 and had I not just been to the Museum in late August, I would go!

'Tis a shame.

$95/ticket, what do you expect? Dissapointing that its something like the 5th year in a row that the trip was planned then cancelled.

Unfortunately there are many many variables involved in planning a trip of this magnitude. Pricing was a major issue from the start without any firm price estimates until it was way to late to do any advertising for the trip. Hopefully the RCT&HS trip committee learned from this experience and will try to rectify this situation next time. Trips of this type are new to our committee and the learning curve needs to be taken into consideration with this one unfortunately. I am hoping we can have more excursions to offer in the future and hopefully they will be a bit more reasonable to participate with.

I hope everybody signs up for all the trips the "Reading Trans Museum" runs with Reading equipment, if anybody ever finds the place.
