I recall some murals depicting the Transcontinental RR. I doubt that they addressed the "hijinks" of the "Big Four", an example; Sacramento was a "foothill" town, as in Denver or Salt Lake, as they had Congress convinced to get them "mountain miles' paid from Sacramento. Lest we forget, during that time frame, there were a few other "things on the plate", like a Civil War, needing to be addressed.
