I was wondering why Shore Line East's New London Station only have Amtrak?
I am just curious.

SLE passengers are carried on certain Amtrak trains

It gets to New London appx. 745pm and Leaves New London at 755pm. Back into New Haven around 9pm.I can confirm that... I've been on that train from NHV to OSB and after I got off, it indeed continued eastward.

Perhaps if this one SLE equipment thru train could be moved to an earlier timeslot, then ridership would improve. But then again, if there's not a convenient morning train... then the evening train is sure to fail.
