I'm not from the area but have an interest in NS operations in NY State. How much traffic does NS run over this route? Do they still run the same amount of coal trains? Is there a chance that they could run more trains such as intermodals? Did I read somewhere one time that there is a connection between this and the old Nickel Plate line in Erie PA?
