Recently saw a picture of the massive Harmon coal dock. Where exactly was it located in relation to the station?

South of the overpass? That's a wake-up for me. I had thought the coal dock --- and other steam facilities --- were all west of the shop buildings, i.e., where the "Half Moon Bay" riverfront condos are today.

(Note: I'm a recently transplanted resident of the area --- live a couple of miles inland of where Oscawana station previously was)

BTW, while we're on the subject: where is the best collection of photos of the Harmon facilities in NYC steam days? An aerial photo would be spectacular.

The two roundhouse were were the condos are today. Look at https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer for Croton on Hudson for 1953

Once on the main page, you have to type in Croton NY, then move to the yard area and zoom in on the date.

The historic aerials page I posted works. Once on the page, copy or paste the coordinates N 41.19274 W 73.88879 in the top search area. Go to aerials tab. Go to 1953, 1964, or 1965. You will see the roundhouse/s and total yard area and loop track. Also check out the 1938, 1943, and 1958 Topos on same page.
